Women's Lives Matter vigil to be held in Doncaster for Amy Stringfellow

The 26-year-old mum died at an address in Dryden Road, Balby last Friday and 45-year-old Terence ‘Tez’ Papworth has been charged with her murder.
Now a vigil is to he held in Doncaster this Saturday by Women’s Lives Matters protesters in her memory.

Hide AdThe #NotOneWomanMore event will be held in Elmfield Park at 3pm on Saturday.
Those attending are urged to bring flowers in her honour and to maintain social distancing at all times for the peaceful demonstration.
In an emotional tribute, her devastated family said: “Our hearts are broken and will never truly be repaired.
“You were beautiful and kind and inspired so many others. We know you will live on in your little girl.
“We love you all the pennies in the world.”

Hide AdMeanwhile, Papworth appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court yesterday morning charged with Amy’s murder.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Doncaster Crown Court again tomorrow.
A fundraising campaign has also been set up to pay for a holiday for Amy’s daughter.
Funding organiser Kory King said “Amy was widely known in her community for having the most beautiful smile and the biggest personality any one person could have, she was loved and adored by many and always will be.
“With a heavy heart, Amy left a gorgeous little girl behind who was never far from her side - her double to carry her amazing personality forward.”
