Doncaster braced for three days of snow after Met Office issues fresh warning

A yellow warning of snow has been issued from Saturday through until Monday for South Yorkshire.
Issued this morning, the warning is in place from 3pm on Saturday until midnight on Monday, February 8

Hide AdA spokesman for the Met Office said: “Cold conditions will persist through the weekend and into the following week with some disruption from snow and ice possible
“There is a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel.
“There is a small chance that power cuts will occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected
“There is a slight chance that some rural communities could become cut off and a small chance that untreated pavements and cycle paths become impassable
A yellow warning of ice is also in place for the weekend.
