Rescue Day set to return to the Isle
The event, which has grown to become the largest event of its kind in the world, will take place at 7 Lakes Country Park on Saturday, July 11,
Last year, more than 30,000 visitors attended Rescue Day with displays from Humber Rescue and Coastguard, Humberside Fire and Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance, among those taking part.

Hide AdRescue Day is organised jointly by Humberside Fire & Rescue Service, 7 Lakes Country Park, Humberside Police and a growing number of emergency service agencies.
The day aims to drive home the importance of water, road and fire safety.
Throughout the event, visitors will see the emergency services in action demonstrating rescues and showcasing the work they do.
This year’s event will include demonstrations of a level crossing train/RTC extrication, water rescue, police dogs and house fire rescue.

Hide AdA spokesman for the event said: “The event will be even bigger and better than in previous years.
“The organisers have pulled out all the stops to make it an exciting and unrivalled day out for visitors.
“It is always a popular event and this year’s action-packed schedule has something for all.”
There is free parking and programme and admission is £5 for adults, £2.50 for the under 16s and OAPs, and £10 for a family of four.

Hide AdEntry is between 10.30am and 5pm, with gates opening at 9am.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the emergency services and local charities.
