Support for Labour and Conservatives soars as Brexit Party slump in latest Doncaster opinion poll

We asked readers who they would be voting for in the General Election on December 12 – and the results show a surprising shift from our last poll carried out at the start of November.
According to the latest figures, the Conservatives got 43% in our survey – slightly ahead of Labour on 40%.

Hide AdBoth parties seem to have soared at the expense of the Brexit Party since our last poll.
Nigel Farage’s party was the choice of 14% of readers who voted – down from 33% at our last poll, a decrease of 19%.
Labour were up from 26% – an increase of 14% – while the Conservatives rose from 31% – an increase of 12%.
It is the first time the Brexit Party has not finished top of one of our General Election voting intention polls.

Hide AdAnd support for the Conservative Party appears to have surged in Doncaster over the last few months. Back in April, just 6% said they would vote for Boris Johnson’s party. That figure now stands at a whopping 43%.
All the party leaders have visited Doncaster in recent weeks, with all seemingly keen to focus their attentions on a town which recorded a 69% Leave vote.
