Covid heroes wanted for a new Doncaster photography project

‘Depictions of DN’ is a photography project designed to capture the stories of Doncaster’s local heroes who have worked so hard over the pandemic.Right Up Our Street is looking for nominations of a key worker or volunteer who has stood out to you personally.

“We want to capture the images and stories of our local heroes and give them a shout-out on social media.
"With the potential of their stories forming part of an exhibition later in the year at the DN Festival of Light 2021.
“We’re so excited to see your nominations and thank the unsung heroes of our community.”

Alternatively, you can post on social media using the hashtag #DepictionsDN.
The top 10 nominated key workers or volunteers will be selected by a community panel in June 2021.
The chosen nominations will receive a visit from a local photographer, who will take a portrait style photo that will form part of a short film to be featured during DN Festival of Light 2021 in November 2021.
