Road closed: Stolen car failed to stop after road traffic collision in Doncaster

The road had to be closed after a stolen car failed to stop after a road traffic collision in Doncaster.

Emergency services were called yesterday (Sunday, 22 October) to Balby Road in Doncaster following reports of an RTA.

It is understood that at around 9.48am there was a collision between a red MG and a grey Ford Focus. The driver of the Ford did not stop at the scene and it is reported that the vehicle had been stolen from the Askern area.

The road was closed for a short time to allow for the MG to be recovered. Enquiries are ongoing.
