A man was arrested after a morning police drugs raid on a house in Askern, Doncaster.

Police said one man was arrested for drugs possession offences and added that he has since been released under investigation.

A small quantity of drugs was recovered in the raid on Avenue Road, carried out under a warrant issued by a court under the misuse of drugs act, on the morning of June 2.

Police are appealing for information on drugs crime in the town.
