30 jobs to go as three Poundworld stores close in South Yorkshire

The troubled discount store announced earlier today that it would close a further 40 stores across the country on July 24, costing 531 jobs.

The retailer's outlets in Crystal Peaks, Rotherham and Doncaster will all shut, taking with them 30 jobs in total.

12 jobs will go at the Crystal Peaks store, while nine will go at Rotherham and nine at Doncaster.

Administrators had already announced the closure of 103 of the stores 335 shops, but efforts to sell of what is left of the business remain ongoing.
