However, these factors have now been analysed by the Property Detective website, which has crunched the numbers to reveal Yorkshire and the Humber’s most family-friendly postcodes.
Each area was assigned a single number between 0 and 100, with the highest scores signifying the best potential areas for raising a family.
The data was shared exclusively with the JPIMedia Data Unit – and the findings are below.
1. S35 - Sheffield and Barnsley
The S35 postcode - which includes Grenoside and other parts of Sheffield, as well as extending into Barnsley - scores a full 100 for raising a family. Photo: Sam Jackson
