Robbie Woolley, aged 18, hopes to become a PE teacher.
However last Thursday when he should have received his results for his Level Three Sport Extended Diploma from Doncaster College he was angry to find out that there was nothing waiting for him.
Robbie, who is from Rotherham, said: “I’m angry and upset. All of my friends received their grades.
“I'm the only one who did not.

Instead of celebrating with his friends Robbie has spent the last few days trying to get a hold of his grades but did not have any luck with the exam board NCSE or with Doncaster College.
It took five days for Robbie to find out that he had achieved a distinction.
“I have continued to work on my diploma through lockdown,” Robbie said.
“That’s what really upsets me.

Robbie’s diploma is a vocational course but the equivalent of A-levels.
He had been told by tutors to expect a ‘distinction star’ grade.
He was planning on continuing at Doncaster College next year as he wants to train to become a teacher.

“I have been treated unfairly and don’t know if I can continue after this.
“It’s really upsetting and I’m worried about my future.”
Robbie does not have any alternative plans for September as his heart was set on becoming a PE teacher.
“I want my results,” he continued.
“It’s what I deserve.” They have taken away the experience for me. I should be out celebrating.

He says he also feels awful for all the students whose grades have dropped.
Robbie’s teacher Darran Collington has found out from exam board NCSE that there had been an internal mix-up.
Doncaster College has been approached for a comment.
