“I’ve never been able to keep a mainstream job due to my chronic pain.
“I think the longest I have gone in a job is six months.
“I really needed to find something long term that I could fit around my condition.”
Lisa suffers from abdominal adhesions which means scar tissue in her body connects her organs together.

“I had to fight to get doctors to believe me and it wasn’t until they opened me up that they did.”
Lisa has used her business as a way to focus on the positive in her life through the tough times.
“It’s been great on days where I just needed to get away from reality,” she said.

“I can make up to ten different scents a day and still be excited.”
When Lisa was a child she was fascinated by candle wax and would play around and make shapes from it.
But it wasn’t until she was 26 that she thought she could use her love of crafting and scents to make a business.
